Events Trips Outdoors Climbing Walking 1999 Europe UK Scotland Ross-shire	Sat 8 May 1999 With Jim, Dave Randell, Dave Gee, Sam and Conrad. Sat 8 May 1999 Met Dave and Conrad at Keele services. Conrad provided a superb set of travel games - one for each car. Met Sam in Inverness and shopped. Ate out in style at the Kishorn Hotel, where Conrad embarrased us all (but mostly himself,) by failing to know the socially acceptable answer to the question "How would you like your scallops?". The cottage, in the village of Ardarroch was newly decorated and very nice. Sun 9 May 1999 Warmed up on Maol Chean-dearg . The weather was mostly good. We had tea at 7:00 - the earliest ever. In the evening we played a round of Formula 1 for old time's sake, before moving up a gear to Conrad's latest acquisition - Formula Dé. We're talking gears, collisions and a 30-sided dice. Mon 10 May 1999 The forecast wasn't too good, so we didn't opt to climb the Cioch Nose (which we can see from the cottage). It was a fine walking day with only short periods of rain so we headed to Sgurr nan Ceannaichean and Moruisg. Tue 11 May 1999 Something (?) with Dave, Dave and Conrad. Long walk in and pretty wet. Wed 12 May 1999 Poor weather so we stayed at the cottage. Thu 13 May 1999 No rain today, so we all went to The Saddle (via the Forcan Ridge) and Sgurr na Sgine . Ruth and Simon Love arrived in the evening. Fri 14 May 1999 Climbed the Cioch Nose with Ruth, Jim and Dave Gee. Sat 15 May 1999 Sgurr nan Each, Sgurr nan Clach Geala [Fannichs] and Meall a'Chrasgaidh with Jim and Conrad (I think).
