Traverse of these peaks in 24 hours.
"There are 15 peaks in Wales whose height reaches the 3000ft mark. To walk or run over all of them entails a route of 33 miles with a total ascent of 4250m. To complete the route within 24 hours walking requires an early start and lots of stamina." http://www.nettlerash.freeserve.co.uk/w3k/welsh3k.html As I understand it, the official route starts at the summit of Snowdon and finishes at the summit of Foel-fras. By my measuring, that's 35 km, 3000 m of ascent. Of course you still have to walk in and out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
